Glen Garioch 1797 Founders Reserve

The Glen Garioch 1797 Founders Reserve single malt whisky was crafted by founders John & Alexander Manson since 1797. It illustrates the distinct house character of honey sweetness, hints of heather and a touch of spice.

Glen Garioch Distillery is a very old distillery dating from 1797 with two stills, in 1973 this was increased to three. A distillery that has had quiet periods over the years, the last being 1968 till 1970 when it was purchased by Morrison Bowmore who own Bowmore distillery on Islay. Traditionally a peaty malt, and at one time very peaty, this has been lowered making it more appealing to blenders.
